At the center of the project are aspects of the relationship between humans and nature. For this project I let myself be inspired by the mythology of the Australian aborigines.

In the mythology the legends about dreaming paths can be found, which should exist since the world creation. According to the legends, the whole country is covered by a system of dream paths. The spirits of nature who created the earth and then themselves become forever a part of it walk there at night and sing the names of animals and plants.

The project "night route" it is an imaginary journey through the system of Songlines and meetings with various spirits of nature. I find the legend of the harmonious unity between man and earth amazingly beautiful. That's why I tried to imagine by my painting, that the spirits of nature have created not only the Australian continent, but the whole world.

As it probably for the spirits would be to modern times quite impossible for example among the European countries to walk, in which the nature can hardly still be found, I invented for this purpose the imaginary crosswalks. Each picture of the project shows a meeting with such a spirit of nature on a crosswalk.

My idea was to restrict the viewer's imagination as little as possible and to make a multilayer perception of all images, so like by a traditional illusionistic painting.
